Today News 9, a part of Multibyte MediaTech Pvt. Ltd., established its place in India’s media landscape in 2020. It began its journey with a sense of challenge and humility, aiming to serve the nation as a truly independent news and media platform.

The outlet emerged at a pivotal time in Indian history—just as the nation was transitioning from autocratic influences and stepping into a renewed era of democratic governance.

GOVERNING BODY

The organization is led by a Board of Directors consisting of five members:

  • One Chairman

  • Four Directors

The Board oversees financial matters such as income and investments, but does not participate in editorial or policy decisions.

Policy-making authority resides solely with the Editor, who is also a Director.


ORGANOGRAM

  • Editor & Publisher: Heads editorial, news, and reporting units.

  • Associate Editor: Assists the Editor and serves as acting Editor in their absence.

  • Assistant Editors: Develop editorials, oversee post-editorial content, manage features, and design pages.

  • Editorial Board: Consists of the Associate and Assistant Editors, who produce editorials under the Editor’s guidance.

Department Heads

  • Finance Manager: Manages financial operations and accounts.

  • Circulation Manager: Oversees distribution and works to expand reach.

  • Advertisement Manager: Manages ad strategy and revenue streams.

News & Reporting

  • Chief Reporters (Current & Special Affairs): Lead the reporting team, assign stories, and vet incoming reports.

  • Chief News Editor: Heads the news section.

  • News Editors & Joint News Editor: Layout pages and write headlines.

  • Sub-Editors: Edit reports and forward them for final review.

  • Revision Editor: Finalizes content for publication.

City Reporting

  • City Editor: Coordinates urban coverage, manages special event reporting, and oversees special city pages.

Support Team

  • Rewrite Specialists and Translators: Refine content and handle language-specific adaptations.
